Idaho Handbook - Coming soon
The Numbers Don't Lie: Since 2010, Idaho's population has exploded by a staggering 23%. People flock here because they think they've "fallen in love" with our culture. But they're wrong. But as more people move to Idaho, our culture becomes diluted, and its integrity is at risk. New residents bring a unique set of attitudes, behaviors, and customs with them, and they don't often adapt to the existing culture.
We will not stand by and watch our culture vanish. Our goal is massive, immediate action: 1.5 million Idahoans actively dedicated to cultural preservation by 2035. The Idaho Culture Handbook (2026) is the mandatory foundation for anyone who loves this state. Here’s a sneak peek at what we’re working on.
The Backbone of Idaho: Idaho’s Strength Is in Its People
Beyond the stunning landscapes, Idaho’s true identity lives in its people. Idahoans are defined by Grit, Resourceful, Adventure, Authentic, and Helpful. These aren't soft ideals—they are the tools we use to conquer daily life. These values don't just influence decisions; they are the driving force behind every good neighbor and every successful venture. Our people are the culture. If you don't embody this, you don't belong here.
Being a Good Idahoan
Being a good Idahoan means more than just having an Idaho address—it is about intentional living and unwavering integrity. It is the commitment you make every morning. This commitment means:
Show Up: Be an active, reliable part of your community.
Lend a Hand: Know your neighbor! Immediately offer support to someone in your neighborhood who might need a helping hand.
Uphold Respect: Treat others with genuine respect, even in disagreement.
Honor the Land: Value our shared spaces and protect the resources that define our state. Leave no trace.
Whether you’re new to the state or born and raised here, living by these values helps preserve the spirit of Idaho. This is the standard. Live up to it.
